Tom managed projects and led design in senior positions with multinational businesses.  Throughout his career designed 18 manufacturing facilities, successfully designed retro-fitted expanded production facilities, designed and optimized hybrid systems in North America and International locations.

He founded Azure Research in 2000. In growing the business, he managed and was lead design engineer for diverse industrial, process technology and air environmental projects in North America and International locations. Azure Research progressed and diversified  to contribute insight and creativity to many new and retro-fitted operations: resource, manufacturing, rail and truck loading facilities.

He is currently leading Azure Research with his expertise in 3D Design, Modeling and Animation Technology into Thermographic and Reality Capture applied to Machine Vision Optics, Learning and Artificial Intelligence solutions. Technology applications in Thermal Engineering, Work and Leisure Environments, Passive and Electrochemical Energy Modulation and Storage are areas of expertise.

Since starting in his career developing technology with the largest diversified chemical business, he has never lost the desire and ability to provide ideas and project performance in innovative ways.     He led commercializing technology and invented, including Canadian, US and International Patents. He has a B.A.Sc. in Chemical Engineering.

With diverse experience and expertise he has led and contributed to joint market and economic studies.  He received a M.A. in Economics from the University of Toronto. He has expertise in international business trade, projects, markets and energy economics.

He lives with his wife and children in Mississauga, Ontario, CANADA. Enjoys the outdoors all seasons, taught skiing, an avid snowboarder and loves biking in all terrains.
